If there's one sport that's truly woven into the Malaysian soul, it's badminton. From neighbourhood courts to a packed Axiata Arena during the Malaysia Open, badminton is a core part of who we are. It's no surprise that badminton betting at reze88 is among the most active of any sport with local fans – especially when our national players step onto the court.
At Reze88, we understand this context deeply. When Lee Zii Jia faces Viktor Axelsen in an All England quarter-final, it's not just another match — it's a battle of pride watched by millions of Malaysians. Reze88 gives you a way to engage more deeply with that match through well-considered betting, with competitive odds and markets you'd rarely find anywhere else.
Malaysia has produced badminton legends who have left a lasting mark on the history of the sport. From the golden era of the Sidek brothers in the 1990s, when they won consecutive Thomas Cups, to the current generation represented by Lee Zii Jia, Aaron Chia, and Pearly Tan — Malaysia has consistently produced world-class players across multiple categories.
This is no coincidence. BAM's (Badminton Association of Malaysia) intensive training programmes, solid infrastructure, and full government support through the National Sports Council have created an ecosystem where local talent can thrive. And when these players represent Malaysia on the world stage, the Reze88 platform becomes the place for fans to show their support in a more interactive way.
Held annually in Birmingham, England, the All England Open is one of the longest-running tournaments in the history of badminton. For Malaysian fans, the All England holds a uniquely special place – it is the tournament where legends such as Razif/Jalani Sidek, Wong Choong Hann, and Lee Chong Wei once proudly carried the nation's name.
At Reze88, All England betting markets open several weeks before the tournament begins, giving you the chance to place early bets on the overall tournament winner at higher odds. As the tournament progresses, odds are updated after every match – and Reze88's in-play betting feature lets you bet point by point while the big matches are live. It's the most exciting way to watch the All England while cheering on our national players.
All your personal data and betting activity on reze88 is protected by industry-standard 256-bit SSL encryption. Your information is never shared with any third party without your explicit consent. For more details, please read Privacy Policy our full offering.
If All England is the individual test, the Thomas Cup is the team test. Held every two years, the Thomas Cup is the most prestigious men's team championship in badminton. Malaysia has won it three times – in 1992, 2010, and 2020 – and each victory was celebrated with great joy across the nation.
At Reze88, Thomas Cup markets open well before the tournament begins, with odds available for every participating nation. Once the group stage kicks off, you can bet on each match result in context, with a clear understanding of what each outcome means for qualification to the next round. During marquee clashes like Malaysia vs Indonesia — always the most heated fixture in the Thomas Cup — the Reze88 platform buzzes with activity as players from across Malaysia place live bets.
Alongside the Thomas Cup, reze88 also offers full coverage of the Uber Cup (women's team event) and the Sudirman Cup (mixed team championship), so Malaysian badminton fans can support every aspect of our national team all within the same platform.
Badminton is a sport where momentum can shift in an instant. A flawlessly played set can completely swing the game in one player's favour, while a run of unforced errors can turn the tables just as quickly. That's what makes in-play betting on badminton at reze88 so thrilling and unpredictable.
Say you're watching Lee Zii Jia take on a top-ranked opponent. He drops the first set but starts finding his rhythm in the second. His odds to win might have drifted out at that point given how things look – but if you believe in his ability, that's your window to find better value than you would have gotten before the match started. That's the excitement of in-play badminton betting at reze88 – every point scored can shift the entire betting landscape.
For a smooth in-play badminton betting experience, reze88 highly recommends using our mobile app, which is fully optimised for smartphones. The responsive interface lets you check the latest odds, make quick decisions, and place bets within seconds – all while watching the live match on the same screen.
Over 30 market types per match – choose the one that best suits your knowledge and strategy.

Badminton betting is about more than just picking your favourite player. If you want to get the best value out of every ringgit wagered at Reze88, there are a few things worth understanding about the sport and how betting markets work.
Follow the BWF rankings consistently. The BWF world rankings are updated every week and reflect each player's actual performance over the past 52 weeks. Players climbing quickly up the rankings are usually in strong form – something newer bettors who rely solely on big names often overlook. At reze88, our odds reflect the latest BWF rankings, though there are occasionally hidden value opportunities on players who are rising fast.
Keep an eye on head-to-head records. Some players have an exceptional record against certain opponents even when ranked lower. For instance, a particular playing style can be very difficult for right-handed players of a certain type to handle. Head-to-head history between two players can provide valuable insight before placing your bets at Reze88.
Factor in fatigue and scheduling. Badminton is an extremely physically demanding sport. Players who have to compete in five matches over four days — as often happens in the latter stages of a tournament — will carry significant fatigue into their final match compared to their first. At Reze88, this factor is often not fully reflected in the odds, giving attentive bettors the opportunity to find better value.
Make the most of set and point markets. Compared to simply betting on the match winner, markets like set handicap or total points often offer better value because they are more specific and less understood by the general public. At reze88, all these markets are easily accessible from the same match page – no need to navigate elsewhere.
Don't let emotions cloud your judgment when backing Malaysian players. This is perhaps the most important tip for Malaysian badminton fans. National pride is a wonderful thing, but in betting, it needs to be balanced with objective assessment. Lee Zii Jia undoubtedly has tremendous potential, but if he's up against Viktor Axelsen in peak form after winning four consecutive tournaments, the odds may not realistically reflect the probability. Betting with a clear head and sound analysis will lead to a far more enjoyable badminton betting experience at Reze88 in the long run.
Many Malaysian badminton fans watch live matches on their smartphones — whether through RTM, Astro, or online streaming platforms. Reze88 understands this habit and ensures that the mobile badminton betting experience is as seamless as possible.
The reze88 mobile app, available on both Android and iOS, lets you check badminton odds, place bets, and view results all on one screen – no need to switch between different apps. The in-play interface is optimised for touchscreens, so you can react quickly to shifting odds as the match unfolds.
Deposits and withdrawals on the reze88 mobile app are a seamlessly smooth experience.
